The Brain of Phil is a project of analysis. In this blog, I aim to provide brilliant insights into the world of technology by seeking out relationships between various stories. This includes analysis of books I read and web pages that I view. I'll also comment occasionally on other interests, including travel, education, and sports.

Solidifying our future plans

Heather started a new job today with a small children's language academy that is very close to my school. The pay is about average for Korean English teachers, so that will give her a good chance to gain experience.

Meanwhile, we have determined that our target date for moving to Australia will be early 2007. There is a March intake for the Graduate Diploma in E-learning program, and I want to get on with it. This also means that our kids will be able to begin school down there.

Heather is going to ask her aunt in Sydney to give us room and board for a while to help us get on our feet. This would be a huge boost for us because we'll be able to spend much less money than if we had to rent a place. Her cousin Doyle is encouraging us to get down there (thanks, Doyle, in case you read this).

So that's the way things are looking right now.
